Tail light covers look solid and durable. Not cheap or flimsy at all. I put them on today and I really like the look. I think they will offer some protection but to be honest I love the black accent on my Gobi jeep. They come with no instructions, just two covers wrapped in bubble wrap, eight screws and eight standoffs. Use washers to prevent the new metal covers from touching the plastic taillights. Assembly took 5 minutes each side. Note, however, that the four screws holding the taillight are two slightly different calibers. It's hard to tell the difference at a glance. The replacement screws provided are the correct size, but be aware and replace old screws of the same caliber.
