This is not one of them paid reviews. I was looking for a large 3-4 person tent for car camping and backyard camping. The 4 person bessport tent met my requirement. Specifically this is what I was looking:1. Aluminum poles2. Easy/quick setup3. Two or more poles (not like the single pole setup on some other 3 person bessport tent)4. Mesh top for star gazing in clear weather5. Solid fabric on sides, that covers few feet high from the floor, so that it can stay little warm in cooler weather6. Full rainfly with vestabules and 2 doors7. Size - at 8 feet by 8 feet and few inches, this thing is big and over 5 feet tall (63 inches)In addition to all of the above, what I likes is that the doors are huge. If it gets warm, you could crack open the door zippers a little and it should help cool it down.The pole configuration is such that it keeps the whole tent pretty tight, unlike their 3 person I tried before this, which had little loser sizes due to the single pole setup.Overall this thing is huge, which is great for families looking for car camping. At almost 10lbs, its heavy, but thats a given with this size tent. The quality is pretty good, what I would expect for this price. Its a step up from colemans and such.I've only used it in good weather so far, but I plan to use it more and put it through its paces.
