Review on OTTOCAST Function Wireless Mirroing 2016 2020 by Aaron Villanueva

Box works as advertised for my 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. I plug it in and it masquerades as Carplay but has an Android skin instead. It lags and is slow, but not terrible. Android Auto not working. I added my Google account details to the Google Play Store and after a few minutes I received a notification that an account named "Molly" had accessed my Gmail account. So I had to change all my passwords. Be careful not to use your primary Gmail account for this. Google Maps works well with GPS. Requires WIFI from your phone to work. Phone calls make a strange noise on the other end, like it's underwater. But the recipients on the other end of the phone calls can hear me just fine. Music quality is ok. You can change tracks on the touchscreen, but you can't open Spotify in the software itself. Overall I award 3 stars. It finally gets me Google Maps on my stereo main unit, but the tradeoffs are phone call quality, inability to navigate Spotify on the touchscreen, and most importantly, security issues that don't make it a 5-star.
