Might be best in surround sound systems

Love the sound quality. In my opinion it is very close to life. (actually my cat noticed this while staring at the speakers while gaming one morning) I've only had the device for a week and I can already fault the device. I would like a blue ring on the volume control. Also, plugins are called combos, like TV/CD, where you really need both separately. It's a great success, but you can replace SAT with TV. Which is almost the same when you have a dish, but not quite. And the USB is very good (actually what I bought it for) but if you pick randomly it's always the same next time. While my TEAC USB player has a true random number generator for each collection of songs on the flash drive. I'm using a modest flash drive, not an iPod, on a USB port. For me this is the last biggest minus of all. I'll try again, but that seems to be the case on my first try. Should this happen accidentally, I will change this review. [I checked this morning: there is no random mix. Basically, you have two options for listening to songs - very boring and bait. ie incompetent engineering] No banana plugs on the back either, no doubt to cram as many ports as possible, and yet they could add at least one more. Finally, the device gets very warm since the power consumption is over 300W. Since I won't be using it to capacity though, it will probably use as much as my 32" flat screen LCD TV. So not too bad, but power if you want it. Otherwise a good deal at a good price. From a company like Onkyo However, one can expect more.
