These are a perfect match for the eyebolts in my Heddon Teeny Torpedo fishing lures. Split rings #1 and #2 (4mm and 5mm) fit perfectly. When making a new hole, first drill a slightly smaller hole (a hand drill with a vise) and if the screw pulls or jerks (especially on softer materials) use a dab or two of superglue at that point. hole (a toothpick works well) to further secure the screw. In harder materials, this hole prevents the screw from breaking when screwed in (reduces the stress on the screw). It will also help the screw go in straighter.
