I use it on my mattress when I travel or stay for a few days. But I also like to use it at home. The suction is strong and doesn't tear my sofa. My sofa is a little piled up, not much. And it doesn't clean or damage it. I've run a carpet cleaner on my couch in the past with mixed results. I like it with that. Ideal for fabric sofas!
