This is the second bike I've used these liners on. The first set survived years of rocky trails and saved me the trouble of patching or replacing tubes in the middle of a ride. Unfortunately, this bike was stolen and with it the liners. Now that I've replaced the bike and liners, I ride without fear of goat's head shreds, prickly pear piercings, or mesquite mayhem (the southwestern desert is a rough place). In the last sixty kilometers I saw three punctures without damage to the inner tube. Both bikes are 29-inch full-suspension bikes. The guards didn't pinch or rub my hoses, despite what some would describe as a "spirited" or "demanding" riding style.
