I rated these 3 stars as they say they are for snorkeling but they are fully functional to wear with fins but I can see they are good for protecting yours feet on the beach or while walking in the sea. I bought these to protect my feet during a 3 day snorkeling trip (snorkeled 4 hours a day for fear I would get blisters on my fins after so much diving, but I only wore them for about 15 minutes , because they slipped down with these socks I foot too much on the fins and I was afraid that I would lose one.I pulled up the fins 5-6 times tightened them and then gave up and took off my socks.I will use them at the beach and other times when i want to protect my feet but they can get wet.
