Your nose can touch the front of the mask slightly, but that's not that bothersome, but if your nose is like a beak, you can complain. The company that makes this also just released a version with a deeper silicone seal, so you can opt for that if you're worried about your nose touching the mask. The pad can also be purchased separately so you can replace it if you already own one of these masks. I felt much safer in it than in a cloth mask on an airplane. This filters the incoming and outgoing air, helping you protect others and yourself. Would definitely recommend if you want a little more quiet.
