Love the idea of these naturally scented cedar blocks! I have a few clothing baskets that I store seasonal items in and the smell usually goes stale after they've been in the baskets for a few months. Then I have to wash everything again before I can wear it, even though it was washed before storage. These cedar blocks help keep the scent fresher. I grew up among cedars and know the scent very well. However, the polished blocks have less odor than I expected and are smaller than I thought. They work but must be in direct contact with the garment. They have holes in the middle, making them easy to thread through a hanger, but that doesn't provide enough fragrance for the entire outfit. I had several mesh bags around the house and I ended up stuffing a substantial amount of blocks into the bag and then placing it in the center of the bin otherwise the pieces would just fly apart. The item has a 12 month guarantee, not sure if that means the smell will go away over time.
