Review on GLD Products Viper 800: Regulation Size Electronic Dartboard with 57 Games, Ultra-Thin Spider for Enhanced Scoring, Top Quality Segments to Reduce Bounce Outs by Lamar Vanderburg

I really like this dartboard. I bought it myself and then Vine asked me to review it so I didn't mind getting a second one as my first one was a bit odd with the buttons. That's actually why I deducted a star. My buttons on my 1st lasted about a month. previously I had to really, really press and hold the power button to turn it on or off. Had it not been for that aspect I would have given it a brilliant 5 stars. Some interesting features: It can accommodate MANY players. There are many, many children in our home, it is crucial for us that the whole family can play. It has a TON of different games. Most of them are just "extra" to me as an adult, but my kids love playing all the different ways. I, to a lesser extent. I only like the main popular ones. But it's great if you want a change. HOLD arrows. I almost never have a problem with arrows ricocheting unless they hit plastic parts that are very, very thin and very difficult to hit. leave no traces. I have higher quality, heavier Viper darts and they mark the drywall/paint. I leave the lungs to the children and enjoy the better ones for me! The dart holder is great. No loose arrows for the little one to hit and destroy! Keeps a perfect score - I haven't had any issues with any technical aspects of the dartboard, everything is going great. Easy to read, easy to see. The only other downside is that it's a bit slow between players; You have to pause and wait for him to say "next player". To be honest, a lot of times someone forgets and quits, and it clearly doesn't count. However, this is negligible because once that happens you can just click on the arrow already stuck there and it will calculate the score. So it's not a big problem. Overall I LOVE this dartboard. It was great despite heavy use of parties, get togethers and lots of kids in the house!
