Update: It was noticed that the taillight had very low battery life. I had to send it back - the replacement works 100%. Shooting star - be sure to check the battery life of newer devices - otherwise no regrets and a great set. This is a truly unique pair and I love how it works - and works consistently well. First, setting up (up to) 4 modes is easy and fully customizable. Easy to use, rechargeable and reliable. My main decision was based on quality and light output, but having one button for both lights is awesome. I have a daylight flash as one of the pair settings and they flash like a thunderstorm. I use a 500 lumen setting in the front and a pulsating rear at night and that's pretty much all I need. I also accidentally left one of my lights on until it turned off. Bonus! I assume this will work well for trail riding on uneven bars, not a helmet mount. Plus the 1000 lumen overdrive beam is simply stunning - and over an hour and a half - that's a lot of light and a lot of time for such a compact device, all in one package!
