I moved into a house with wall heaters and after getting my first utility bill over the winter I decided to buy a thermometer to check my wall heater thermostats were working. actually exactly. It turned out that the living room heating thermostat was actually off by about 5 degrees. I would set it to around 70 and it would heat the living room to 75. I really like the size and design of this thermometer. It's big enough that you can see the numbers from across the room, but not so big that it draws a lot of attention when placed on a shelf. I've had some trouble trying to figure out the comfort level settings, but then again, I don't really need a slight scowl to tell me it's too hot/cold/wet, so I don't really care. and i just let it be
