Although I say these are somewhat large (width-wise), these are the 3rd pair I purchased. That just goes to show you that I do like these shoe laces a lot. I own three pairs of Cole Haan Chukkas which I believe use a 25" or so lace. The closest size I could purchase is 27". The two extra inches don't make much of a difference. What is different however, as I indicated earlier, is the width of the lace. These laces aren't as thin as the Cole Haan laces. From a cosmetic standpoint they don't look as nice as the Cole Haan stock laces, but I don't think anyone else will really notice. What matters more to me is that these laces seem unlikely to break like the stock Cole Haan laces. I had two pairs of Cole Haan Laces from two different pairs of shoes break in a period of a couple of weeks. Coincidence perhaps. Anyhow, I really like these laces, and purchased them as replacements and backup laces should my third pair of stock Cole Haan laces break.
