Holy fat man! This chair is the best chair I have ever bought for my home. It is very similar in quality to the furniture you would see in a well appointed office. It's very well done. It is comfortable. And my huge 375 mass doesn't even seem to bother him. The last office chair I bought had the center support hydraulics break in less than two weeks of use. It was small, like all the others, smaller than what I usually see in drone cockpits in a real office of a large company. It was pretty handy, if uncomfortable. This new chair is a *real* chair, not one of those chips you get at Office Depot for $34.99. He does what he has to do, he has a decent attitude, and fat beggars can't afford to vote. It works, doesn't hurt my butt or lower back, is more than roomy enough and the wheels are smooth and strong. me and my tall wife (sorry honey). Recommended. A NOTICE. The included Allen key, common with disposable trash tools, is a real POS. Use a long hex wrench if you have a set. I can't immediately remember what I used, so take both your metric and SAE sets. All of these screws have dried blue material like Loctite on them. It's hard to give up after a few streams. The four that attach the base to the seat are LONG and require you to fiddle with the allen wrench for a while. For this reason, I recommend using thick gloves when assembling. For this reason, you must also use a LONG Allen key if you have one. This gives you MUCH greater leverage than the short one that is included. Also, it's a heavy chair. The crate weighed about 64 pounds and the parts can be difficult to lift if you're sitting on the floor assembling it. Finally, my reels never "clicked" or "snapped"; The instructions tell you to listen and feel for this interaction. The holes in the base are partially filled with grease and there was NO feedback that the casters were engaged. I got my wife to stand with one foot on the base (putting it on the carpet and towel to make sure it doesn't pop out from under her) and that seemed to bring the cast back home. Or at home is enough. ;-) Excellent chair. If you're a big boy like me and tired of carrying crappy chairs that can't support your weight or are too small, this is worth considering despite the price.
