Pretty good fans. They have a number of good features including a thermostat setting where the fan will stop blowing if the temperature drops below the selected temperature (in 5 degree increments). Very handy at night when temperatures start out so high that a fan is needed and then drop so low that the fan wakes you with chills if it keeps running. Better than the countdown timer, which is also available, in my opinion. It's not too loud, although it hums a bit. Speeds start at the maximum and gradually decrease, making acceleration more annoying, but at 5 speeds it's not too bad to drive through. Although you will lose the timer or temperature settings if you turn it off. The remote control is a bit of a hassle as it also controls fans from other brands, making setting up all the fans more exciting than we'd like. Worse, the buttons work differently on other brands. Therefore, a change in speed can cause the other brand to vibrate. The top height is a bit lower than some, and downward tilt is limited. On the other hand, the height adjustment is quite good, so it can compensate for the limited inclination. There are enough cords, and if not enough, there's always the option of an extension cord.
