I bought this product to replace another one with a plastic body. The plastic housing became unusable when I accidentally let brake fluid in. I used it to bleed the brake lines and it worked as expected. Also used it to test the vacuum switch on my garden tractor. It is very convenient in the store! It was shipped to my home for a few dollars less than the exact same pump at the local discount tool store.
