I bought this to comply with local regulations saying I need a reflector or light on the back of my bike. The seat rails are a great place for the tail light. That's as high as I can get without a sissybar and I can use my drip stand without crushing it. I've read the reviews and have no plans to try the auto or flash functions. Press the central button four times and it's on. One more click and it's over. $20 is a lot for a light on/off with other features not working, but I haven't seen any other way to get my hands on one of these mounts. I filled in blue Loctite. I wish they had sold the mounts separately. I would have one on each of my bikes. The mount and location are amazing. Update: I said earlier that $20 is a lot for this flashlight. I do not believe anymore. I think this light is at least tied to the best taillight design.
