Entity 27L Maxpedition

The Entity 27L meets my everyday needs without being tactful. I usually only wear it on a shoulder strap. Fits a 15.5" laptop in a laptop sleeve with the power adapter and cable in the laptop compartment. It fits a 32 ounce bottle of Nalgene but you can't stuff a bag behind it, I have a jackknife in that bag and headphones. In another pocket I carry cell phone charger, power adapter with cable, pens, markers, in the outside pocket I carry an ID card and tie it to the side handle so I can scan it without taking it off my shoulder. Basically, I carry a few folders, a lunch bag, a multi-tool, a fixed knife, a small umbrella, enough space, I put the keys in my pocket. In the photo, Nalgene 32oz fits with no problem, another bag full of stuff is suitable for a thermal mug, but it fits well. Now it would be nice if they added a zipper to the side pockets so they could be expanded like the Entity shoulder bag. I also had a 23L bag and found it too small for my needs, 27 is perfect for everyday and travel. The CCW doesn't close, the zips are somewhat hidden and the compartment is on the back but is well padded. As with anything, if you have CCW I wouldn't leave it unattended for reasons of responsibility. Locking in the main package does not prevent anyone from taking the package and it is just a zipper.
