Review on 🎨 Bruynzeel Water Colour Pencils Box 48 - Vibrant Shades for Artistic Mastery by Karla Richter

I've just started using watercolor pencils and found this set interesting as I wasn't familiar with the brand. I really like them and am considering getting regular pencils from this brand. They react slightly to water and while some of the colors are well pigmented some of the lighter colors seem to disappear completely when I add water but that might just be my application. The colors differ from all the kits I currently own in that they are more muted, not in a bad way, just deeper in tone. They are very light because although the core is quite thick, there isn't much wood around it. I would have preferred names to numbers and I wish there were more colors in the range as the largest set I could find was 48 crayons and I prefer a wider range of colours. All this is balanced by an innovative box. These are 4 boxes of foam. This is possibly the only set of pencils I keep in a box.
