Exceeded my expectations.
This is a solid, floor standing artificial tree stand in the trunk size shown. They are not suitable for natural trees and do not provide water retention. They held a fairly heavy 8ft tree for us and allowed for a lot of adjustment to straighten it. The legs also withstood the impact of our cat, who considers the tree to be her playground. The legs fold almost flush with the floor and lock into place. They are easy to fold for storage, easy to extend and close. Great force is required to bend or damage this stand.
