Subwoofer connection problem

After I connected the Panel 48 to my TV, the remote control didn't work properly, when I try to turn down the volume it disconnects itself. Then the subwoofer became poorly cleaned. I updated the firmware, it fixed the remote access issue, but the update didn't fix the subwoofer issue. Every time I have to cycle the power to get sound from the subwoofer
