Review on KYB SM5701 Spring Seat by William Turner
You will need them when replacing the strut block bearing with the Monroe Quick Strut Assy.
I had an issue with the complete assembly of the Monroe QR. Apparently they don't use a standard size strut bearing. I have a Honda CRV which bearing size is about 10mm smaller. My solution that I found is to replace the full size spring seat cover. After that I can use any standard replacement bracket for my car. Hope this helps someone else with this problem.
