Review on Lindstrom PLR-7590 Round Nose Pliers: 🔧 Precision Hand Tools for Crafting and Jewelry Making by Jennifer Roberts

I needed pliers with a very thin tip and in the description they had 0.5mm tips, just what I needed. The tips on what I received is 0.92mm. Although the product specs say they have a 0.02 inch or 0.50mm tip width, mine was almost double that with a 0.92mm tip width. I contacted the seller who in turn contacted Lindstrom. Lindstrom told them that a 0.50mm tip would be "too sharp" and that they usually work in the 0.7 to 0.9mm range. These pliers are for sale on multiple websites from multiple retailers with a 0.50mm tip. Confused about where the specs came from, but the article doesn't match the published specs, and Lindstrom states that such specs "would be too sharp". Bottom line: if you want pliers that meet published specs, you're not going to get them.
