K&N is the best!: Air Intake

Installed this on my 2001 Tahoe a few months ago and am very pleased with the results. It was very easy to install, I didn't have to cut anything or make any modifications other than drilling a small hole in the plastic for the heat shield, fan cover and so on. Contrary to what some people say here, you get a better MPG. The factor that makes them think it's worse is that they put more pressure on the throttle to hear that great sound the intake kit is giving your engine, which I'll admit is a tricky thing. do. It took ONLY about 2 hours to install because the only drill I had was battery powered and I had to charge it for about 45 minutes and I just took my time and read the instructions carefully. I recently added a 3" Magnaflow 15666 stainless steel cat-back exhaust system and it has inherently more power, but also increased intake power as the air is allowed to leave the engine almost as fast as it enters. The collectors create airflow Maximum, but that's another story I have K&N in all three of my cars and I've put K&N filters in my parents' cars and I've had nothing but great results.
