I had a stack of makeup brushes that I haven't cleaned in a long time because they ALWAYS need to be hand washed. So I ordered it hoping it lived up to the hype. It does! I was able to clean most of my brushes with the grip attachments in about 40 minutes where it used to take over an hour. Of course, 40 minutes comes with a learning curve, so it will take even less time next time. Doesn't require a lot of water (if you don't want to clean up the mess it will squirt out if you add too much) or brush cleaner. The only "trouble" I had with this unit was removing the collar to clean the bowl. This is important because if it is not removed, if water leaks while the collar is on, water will get under the collar and run all over the counter. But with a little finesse (laughs!) I was able to remove it and clean the bowl. It definitely dries the brushes instantly. Most dry the first time. Few with thicker stubble need a second try. The brushes are perfectly clean and ready to use. Great price for saved time and manual work!
