Brought my Inspiron 5558 back to life
Dell made a really crappy quality laptop with the Inspiron 15 5000 series; After about four years of moderate use, my laptop failed to recognize the charger and got stuck at 0.48GHz CPU, which is VERY slow. I've searched all over the internet for a solution ranging from replacing the motherboard to replacing the charging connector and it all seems too time consuming. The simplest solution was to use a 65w charger instead of the included 40w charger. Suffice to say, the laptop is back in action with this 65W adapter.
