Overpriced -- but A Keeper

I ordered this Brother AIO after researching and reading all the good reviews. Well, I'm not that excited. Basics: it arrived quickly; was in a "brand new" box, so it was a new printer, not repackaged; had all the necessary, expected items. Setup wasn't that quick or easy for me, but I ended up getting there in about 40-45 minutes. While I'm not a geek, I consider myself reasonably savvy and tech-savvy. The size is decent. Not big, but not compact either. Takes up little space "on" a standard table. Compared to my decrepit Dell AIO, the quality/workmanship is minimal. I feel like the paper/feed trays or top cover might break if I accidentally apply force. The printing time is relatively fast, and the copying and quality are good. Initially, the scanning and faxing processes worked well. Not recently. Now I have to run a scan on my laptop instead of having the printer do it automatically. And for some reason I can't send faxes anymore. I've printed a lot, the ink level is normal. Double-sided printing is good. Love it; saves paper. The process of enlarging the copy is not displayed. WiFi doesn't work either. I understand there is lifetime customer service to help and I will take care of that once I have an office. I am sure that current problems will be solved. So I can't comment on customer service at this time. Overall this AIO is fine for now and is a steward. If I could remake my old Dell and compare it to this AIO, Dell would win by a mile. Amazing difference in material quality. Guess why. By the way, I tried to buy another Dell. The same AIO is no longer available.
