I received this item as a product tester. Here's my unbiased opinion. Packaging: The items were packed very well, no damage was found. Setup: Instructions were easy to understand. I couldn't remove the plastic sheet with the stickers from the face shield and had to use my fingernails instead. Quality: I have used similar products from different companies. AccuMed has a thicker screen than others, which prevents it from bending or getting damaged. As described in the description on Amazon, it has anti-fog properties. It had no issues with fog or condensation on the top, even though I was sweaty and hot. In terms of comfort, it was very easy to wear and I didn't feel like it was pressing against my face or nose. I definitely felt safer wearing this face shield than goggles or goggles as it covers my entire face and mask. I can also carry my bulky, protruding N95 duckbill with it. Care: I thought it would be scratch resistant but it isn't. I wiped it with disinfectant wipes, and as a result, micro-scratches remained on it. The best way to disinfect it is to spray it with alcohol and wipe it with a tissue. Conclusion: Especially for patients with a contagious cough, it is the best alternative to safety goggles, goggles or face shields that are worn around the head. The protective mask is made of thicker plastic compared to other brands I have tried. You can also carry it with bulky N95s like the Platypus. My colleagues who tested it and I would recommend it to other healthcare professionals.
