Retractable - since it is retractable, you can simply close it with Velcro (see photo) and store it away when not in use2. WATERPROOF - Filled with water, no leakage. Inside is a very strong thick liner. Cons: 1. There is only one way to attach it using the velcro on the side. It stands well, but someone might knock it over when getting into a car. 2. No litter box comes with it, but dog bags fit perfectly in these bins and they're cheap! (see photo) You just have to poke a small hole to put the straps in and then it will hold up well!
