It works! External components
I've used this a few times. It works perfectly. I have a set of headphones with a microphone that I plug into. As soon as I plugged the USB end into a port on the computer, it was recognized and configured to work. I turn it off when not in use and plug it back in when needed. I use it with the new Logitech webcam. Audio and video work great. Haven't used it for phone calls yet, but I'm sure it will work for that too.
