Review on 🌡️ BMW Coolant Temperature Sensor for E87 E81 E46 E90 E91 E39 E60 F10 - Lower Radiator Hose Compatible by Leo Govindan

I replaced a known good sensor with this one while doing maintenance on my cooling system. Warmed up the car, drove it like everything is normal. Drove back into the garage to idle the car and found the fan wasn't spinning. Monitored the temperature through a hidden menu and the fan eventually turned on at 113 degrees Celsius but turned off again after the temperature dropped to 110 degrees Celsius. I parked the car as it was boiling heavily. The switch was defective and operating at a much higher temperature than it should.
