I recently purchased these parts after the ones that came with the Pure Enrichment Air Purifier expired and I am amazed at the difference. When I first bought the unit, I lived in an apartment that had mold in the basement that was spreading through the floorboards. This product worked. I usually had to let it run for a day or two and the odor neutralized and I've taken it from room to room as needed. Now I have a house, a house with ex-smokers (as bad as mold) and I was starting to think that the product would either work for such a large room or maybe not good for the smoke. Then I realized that I hadn't changed the filter for a long time. An air purifier is nothing without a clean filter. My air purifier is in the demo room, except for the bare plaster (wallpaper, paint removed). I have to dampen the plaster because I wash it with lime and once it's wet the smell of nicotine is very noticeable, mainly in places like the ceiling that I can't remove yet. If it gets wet you will smell nicotine. This morning is the first morning after the new filter was installed, and it is day and night before a day. The air is finally starting to smell neutral. I really couldn't be happier. I love this little car and these filters are wonderful. I was a bit skeptical as I didn't feel I should buy a replacement from any company other than Pure Enrichment but I'm honestly shocked at how quickly the replacement comes after a full day's work. That speaks for both filters and this little machine. Couldn't be happier. Maybe soon I'll buy another machine to use in another room.
