I was so excited when I received the variety of sanding discs for my 5 inch Black & Decker sander. We're renovating our house and have occasional projects (like updating an old plain table) so we use a lot of sanding tools. The cotton (or whatever) on the back of these discs is minimal. I attach the disc to my grinder and it flies in about 2 minutes. After that it doesn't last anymore. My grinder is clean/no damage to the disc attachment points so I know it's discs (I've tested other discs and they hold up great). This will give you about 2 minutes of good polishing. After that you have to super glue the discs or press the grinder hard against what you are grinding to keep the discs from flying off.
