Works great. We bought a new sink for our kitchen and it had a built in chopping board. This thing looks like it never saw oil in the finishing process. It was dry to the bone. I lost count of how many layers of butter it took, but it had to be like 8 before it really looked and felt like a usable cutting board. I have to lubricate the oil regularly until it reaches some kind of stagnation, but at the moment I have about half a bottle left, so I'll be fine for a while. While at it I tinted some of the wooden utensils and they didn't absorb much oil so this bottle should last a while for most people. At first I was very concerned about where to find "mineral oil" which I kept hearing to use for wood because there seems to be more than one type of oil categorized as "mineral oil". , and I wasn't sure if it was all food safe. I relied heavily on the reviews when making my purchase decision and was very happy with my choice.
