Review on CTA Tools 33069 Pro Thread Repair by Jason Hinrichs

While this product worked great and saved me from buying a $200 part, the picture doesn't match what was in the box . I bought this particular thread repair kit specifically because the picture shows the threading tool is a two stage design so I don't have to drill a hole. What appeared was just a regular tapping instrument. This worked for me since I had a drill and had previously cut holes, but I spent a few extra bucks to not have to worry about drilling a hole and aligning the tapping tool. As I said, it worked. pretty good. It seems to hold up pretty well, I used it for a bolt holding the recoil assembly on the outboard motor and it held up after a few pulls. What frustrates me the most is the wrong image.
