100% no accurate representation on the pictures. Take the USB connector and place it on the front. There's also a bright purple light right next to it. It really is. The rest of the case looks pretty good, but that absolutely kills it. Another disappointing thing is that up to 400GB is reserved (or absent) as headroom for the drive to work. Years in IT and I've never seen so much missing from a hard drive. I'd expect 100-150GB of headroom, but not as much as 400. For a drive in an enclosure, it makes a decent buzz. Not because it's a failed drive, but because the drive is unbalanced or something. It doesn't affect me that much because I'm going to remove the case anyway and just leave the plate. It's also not formatted for the console as promised. This is a fully formatted drive with no partitions in RAW data status. This means you still need to format the drive when you connect it to your game console. TL; DR is a hard drive. It stores data. Not as much as I'd like, but oh well. It will also look ugly with the USB coming out the front.
