I can recommend this router to those who want maximum features and are used to being in control of everything. Powerful, reliable. It's amazing how there can be so many possibilities in such a small box. Has some pros - It is enough to set up once, and everything works like clockwork. - I also consider a huge bunch of fine settings, some of which I donβt even know, to be an indisputable advantage. However, it is nice that, if necessary, they can be smoked as I need. For example, I heard that several access points can be combined into one network. In addition, you can wrap traffic as you like, create various rules and flexible filters. Even scripts can be written. - Powerful 1W WiFi penetrates the entire apartment even without an external antenna. - Support for an external USB drive, 3G modem and possibly other USB devices can also be attributed to the advantages. - Powerful 600 MHz processor, 128 Mb RAM. - RouterOS based on Linux is installed as firmware. So, you can cling to SSH and configure the router directly from the console. Some cons: - Poor equipment. Just a box, power supply and router. But who needs a box when the router is already working? - The price bites a little. But you have to pay for quality. - A bit tricky to set up (compared to other SOHO routers). - There is no 2022 language in the administrator interface.
