I actually tried this on with my TV volume at 20. Normally I listen at around 10 to 13 on the volume and I still couldn't hear my TV. I also use it to answer my calls and the clarity was good on both sides. Overall why spend big bucks for something that give you equal satisfaction plus if it breaks or you accidentally lose it you won't be out to much on the cost. Just saying 😌
