I bought this humidifier for my bedroom during the winter months as I kept getting colds and choking in my sleep. This Vicks humidifier was very helpful all winter, it released a lot of water. Fog and you really notice the difference, it's a great feeling when you don't wake up as overwhelmed as before. I like that it has 2 settings on the high setting you can run it for around 8-9 hours which lasts all night, on the lower setting it runs around 19-20 hours on average. I also like that it has an auto shut off so you don't have to worry about it staying on when the water runs out. Sitting in mold will grow, so don't turn away when you see mold. The great thing about it is that it is very easy to clean and with proper care you won't have any major problems with mold or any of that. You can wipe it down or use vinegar to kill the mold, this is very easy to clean. My only issue is that it's a bit big so it's hard to find the perfect spot for it, but that's just my preference so I can't deduct a star for that reason alone. .On the other hand, the advantage of a larger humidifier is that the water lasts longer and reaches your entire room, not just a small area. I also like that it's not too loud, it's actually a gentle, soothing sound that helps me fall asleep. Overall this is a great humidifier, it works really well, does its job well, is easy to use, easy to maintain and is also a solid price point.
