I use this strap almost every day on either my activity bike or Peloton ergometer. I've been using the strap for about 1-2 months. I noticed that my peloton lost contact with the sensor intermittently while I was on the peloton. I'm not sure if it's a sensor or a bike. I replaced the battery to see if that fixed the problem and it worked. But with fresh batteries the connection problem came back after 3 weeks so I don't think it's a battery problem. However, I don't have the same connection issues between HRM and my watch. Hm. Anyway, I wash the strap (after removing the sensor) every time after I put it on and it dries the next day. The strap isn't super soft against the skin, but if you're chasing PR, you won't notice. You have other body pains to worry about! Conclusion. I recommend. So far it's a reliable off-brand that does what it's supposed to do.
