Many decades ago, Komelon developed the first process for effectively laminating Teflon onto measuring tapes. This is a great tape that's 30-50% cheaper than big brands but meets or exceeds their specs. Large numbers, easy to read yellow black band. Good stiffness when stretched. Durable, smooth and effective Teflon coating. A moderate weight on the belt for a 25 foot belt indicates good overall steel gauge. Durable, easy-to-find fluorescent green body with rubber seal and comfortable contours makes the tape measure easy to use. We replaced our ten year old favorite Komelon tape measure that a careless friend cut with a circular saw on a cutting table. Highly recommended for price, functionality, durability and value.
