I've just received and assembled the Sanus BF24B 24" speaker stands. I want this to be written while it's still fresh in my mind. This was a very simple build but you should take your time It's not "wood", it's sawdust mixed with glue, formed into boards and painted black. For the price, I'm okay with that, but it means that if you take your cordless screwdriver and start screwing hammer, end up with a bunch of sawdust and screws. Use a hand screwdriver and work slow and you'll be fine. Plan your cable routing before you put the top on. I found that the 14 gauge wire didn't pull through the top hole went so i had to strip the outer insulation and just thread the red and black wires through the hole but it looks good i recommend using it ung of spikes if like me you have a carpet. They are not sharp and stabilize the whole thing really well. It doesn't need more. They look great with my Yamaha NS-333 bass reflex 2-way bookshelf speakers.
