This is perfect for what I need but it's important to note that this is for storing dry cutlery, you don't want wet cutlery for drying put in . There are no drainage holes and the plastic compartments are firmly attached to the base. I often play outside and set up a buffet table with food, plates, cutlery etc and I wanted something that would make it easy to take cutlery outside. and does not take up much space on the table. I like things with a modern style, so I liked the clean, simple lines of this one. I didn't want to spend a lot of money either, so I liked the price too. If you're short on kitchen drawer space (or just want to keep things close at hand), it's also great for everyday countertop or table storage. My photo shows a set of 8 in a holder and it could definitely hold more (although this depends on how big your set's handles are).
