I was on a project where my largest heavy duty drill would not do the job. I was looking for different hammer drills and after reading the reviews on this one I bought this one. I had to drill about 24 inches through the pavement to add some speed bumps. I could probably use an 8 pound sledgehammer and exhaust myself, but I used this with a 24" drill bit and got the job done in less time. than 30 minutes. This hammer drill has plenty of power even for drilling 8 inch pavement. It comes with a hard case, various accessories and an easy-to-understand instruction manual. I also used it with a 24" drill bit to drill some holes in a large pine and tree stump. No matter how hard the gum was, it went through. I am very happy with this hammer drill and believe it will last quite a long time. I would definitely recommend this to any homeowner.
