Update: - While the silders didn't work as well on carpet as I thought (it worked slightly better with 2 person coordination) it worked great on wood floors. I thought I would contact the seller for "used sliders in new box" as I intended to buy more for my other hardwood flooring furniture and to my surprise the person replied that the sliders have a money back guarantee. Jane, the person who replied to me made it as easy as possible for me and sent me replacement sliders asap. She never asked me for my (original) rating or asked me to change my rating. As far as I know, she probably didn't even know I did the review. While as a shopper I would prefer a quality new product every time and wouldn't need to waste my time and energy acting as the unofficial quality checker for the company, in this particular case I consider it a purge. In other words, I felt the company made me whole, hence the upgrade from the original 1 star to 4 stars. First Review: - The packaging comes in one of those flimsy, brittle plastic containers that you can cut open. when i received it. The sliders have light scratches on the plastic side. Putting them together I can't help but wonder if they've been used and returned and upset as 'new'. . I bought them for our king size bed but thought I'd try them on lighter furniture first as you can see in the photo and they didn't help at all moving the furniture let alone a single person. Here's the verdict, if you're looking to buy these for moving/pushing heavy furniture across carpet/rug I'll save you the hassle - look elsewhere.
