I have had this pump for 20 months now and it has not lost its ability to pump a lot of air. I have a 75 gallon tank and use all four vents and the air vent has not fallen off. I need to replace the stones as they are clogging the air and slowing it down but I can't stop it. Great product as most pumps now have defective diaphragms or other parts that need to be replaced or repaired. This pump is just as strong as day one and all I did was plug it in and enjoy the bubbles. The only problem is that the pump will be a bit noisy, but mine is in a closet in the living room so that's not a problem for me. But if it's in your bedroom, it might be a bit noisy to sleep :)
