Weak metal, breaks

This is garbage. I bought these to screw into the soft 2x2 pine I added to my deck for hanging twinkle lights. Even after drilling pilot holes I managed to unscrew 2 hooks at the base of the screw and 1 hook broke in my hand. I only needed 5, so 60% of the ones I tried failed miserably. Spend a few bucks more and get well-made hooks.

Pros

The inner circle of the hook is deep enough to hang things securely, and these things are not easy to fall off.
