Purchased to continue the OEM 128GB M.2 SATA drive from my Lenovo laptop after upgrading to a higher capacity drive to use. High quality case that fits my use case perfectly and has an attractive design. The clear shell is nice to look at and feels pretty solid. The activity indicator is bright so you can easily see when a drive is being accessed. The heatsink plate gets hot during use, but not as much as I expected, even with heavy use. The included USB-C to USB 3.1 cable is the right size for my use case and feels very solid - there's no play between the USB-C connector and the case. The performance of the case is excellent - I can boot Windows 10 from the hard drive and run it without any problems even while gaming. Bought as I needed a larger drive on a system with Linux installed, but wanted the Windows install to still be available for casual use. The installation guide was very clear and easy to follow. The only part that required the included screwdriver was installing the actuator stop sleeve in the right place as the case supports drives of different lengths (mine is a 2280 so it runs the full length of the case). The grommet allows the drive to sit properly over the board and is reasonably secure - I'm not worried about the drive slipping and causing connection issues. Once the top of the case is slid back on, it snaps firmly into place with no play. The product description on the site was excellent and made it clear that it was M.2 SATA. (not NVMe). Really great value! I have bought other Orico products and am confident that the product will have an excellent lifespan. Definitely recommended.
