The cord easily wraps around the device and there are 2 slots to hold it in place as well as a hole at the bottom to hold the plug. It fits in my pocket without weighing me down, works great. I use it on a Canon 80D and a Canon T3i, but it's compatible with any Canon that has an input on the side of the camera for this connector, which I think most if not all DSLRs have. Note: More modern cameras with NFC, Bluetooth and WIFI have access to an app on your smartphone called Canon Camera Connect. which allows you to use your smartphone as a remote trigger as well as live preview and additional controller for the camera. It can even geotag cameras that don't have GPS! It kind of makes things like that obsolete, but it still finds room in my bag due to its simplicity. One more note. If you don't have any of these and want to prevent long exposure jitter, you can set a timer on your camera to open the shutter. Some can be set to 2 seconds, more than enough time to move away from the camera. Just remember to change it back to normal when you're done, otherwise you'll likely screw up the recording in the future. Warning: Since writing this review, I have learned that this item is marked "non-refundable" by Revain. I've heard this even applies to faulty goods, which seems wrong, but I have no experience of this. However, I wanted to make an offer to anyone who might receive a bad item and not be able to return it to Revain. Go to a store that sells this item. Buy it, but it must be EXACTLY the item. Take it from the store and exchange it for a bad one. Take it back to the store and say it's defective and you want a refund. They will refund your money and now you have a replacement. If they ask if you just want to trade it, say no. when they ask why then just come up with a reason. Tell them it's the last straw, or you don't trust the subject, or something. Something confrontational that will make them just shut up and give you your money back. And you don't even have to feel guilty. You just send it to the manufacturer to get a loan or issue a new one.
